Why is Contrast important?

The higher the contrast ratio of a screen, the more realistic blacks it can show. A low contrast ratio creates a washed-out screen because areas that should be dark are washed out and bright. Impactrum applies a variety of techniques to ensure that your screen has a high contrast ratio.
