A dead pixel is an individual pixel on a display panel that is not functioning properly and is always off, locked to a specific color, or has a lamp that has fallen off the PCB. Dead pixels can be caused by defects in the display manufacturing process, thermal damage from prolonged use, or electromagnetic interference. But the biggest culprit is physical damage.<\/p>
